Outstanding physics PhD thesis wins prize

The Springer Outstanding Thesis Prize for research at PhD level has been awarded to Andreas Rost from the School of Physics and Astronomy. In addition, Andreas' thesis, "Magnetothermal Properties near Quantum Criticality in the Itinerant Metamagnet Sr3Ru2O7", will be published as a book (a rare occurrence in the Physical Sciences) as part of the 'Springer Theses' series. Congratulations Andreas!
